Quality & craftsmanship

Checked at the bench, and again on the day it is packed.

Quality is the one standard we do not move on. Stitching and fittings carry a 12-month guarantee: if a seam opens or a buckle gives way in normal use, send it back and we will repair it or replace the piece.

The leather

Genuine hide, never PU or rexine. It creases where you fold it and darkens where your hand sits — that is the material doing its job, not a fault.

The stitching

Handles, strap anchors and corners carry the whole weight of a bag, so those seams get looked at line by line. A skipped stitch there is what tears in month four.

The fittings

Brass buckles, hooks that shut properly and a zip that runs the full length without catching. Small parts, and the first thing to go on a cheap bag.

The finish

Edges sealed, lining sitting flat, no threads left hanging inside a pocket. Every order is opened and checked again on the day it is packed.
